Posters should be 30h x 40w inches landscape. If you have a larger poster already printed that you would like to use please email the conference organizer to ensure there is a board of your size available. A poster template can be found here.
In addition, a selection of abstracts will be chosen to give short talks. Poster abstracts will be accepted until November 15, 2017 and may be submitted to Erin Uppington. EuXFEL Data Analysis Workshop
The European XFEL saw its first user experiments in September 2017. This exciting new light source promises to open up new types of experiments for structural biology with XFELs. EuXFEL is different from previous XFELs like LCLS and SACLA in that it provides extremely high pulse repetition rate and a unique pulse train structure. The high repetition rate of some 27000 pulses per second (compared to 120 Hz at LCLS) enables rapid data collection for serial crystallography and single molecule diffraction experiments. This means new data collection strategies are needed to deal with the rapid data acquisition, data reduction, high bandwidth and storage requirements for data processing.
The fee for the workshop is $125 and it will be held at Louisiana State University School of Nursing. For complete details click here.
The conference will be held at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside walking distance to French Quarters and Jackson Square, with amazing views of the Mississippi River from the upper floors. Taxi service is available just outside the airport. Rooms are available at the following rates:
