As the Managing Director of the BioXFEL Center, Jill Szczesek oversees administrative, financial and outreach efforts, in addition to providing support for scientific initiatives. All Center meetings and activities are coordinated through the Buffalo office.
Jill has earned a Bachelor of Science from Rochester Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Canisius College, and a Master of Arts in Social Foundations of Education from the University at Buffalo. She has completed all coursework for her PhD in Educational Administration at the University at Buffalo and is currently in the writing process for her dissertation.
The vast majority of Jill’s career has been in higher education, and currently she also serves as Director of Operations and Academic Affairs for Hauptman Woodward Medical Research Institute, which is a collaborator in the Center.
