Protein Production and Purification Workshop at UPR-Mayaguez
BioXFEL Protein Production and Purification Workshop
The BioXFEL Science and Technology Center will be sponsoring a 1-day event on May 11th, 2016 for all interested UPR researchers. The full day course will cover the basics of the biochemistry, cloning, expression and purification of proteins. We will discuss the theory behind common techniques, provide examples, sample materials and a handbook of common protocols. The workshop is intended for undergraduates or graduate students that are interested in pursing a research career in biochemistry or a related field and are currently involved in a research project.
