"Visualizing the 3D Structures of Molecules Involved in Life's Processes" Workshop

Undergraduate students attending college in Puerto Rico are invited to participate in this two-day workshop.

The workshop will be available in the following locations from 8am - 4pm each day:

• February 5th - 6th in Mayaguez
• February 7th - 8th in San Juan

Workshop Components:

1. Focused on structural biology at X-ray sources

2. Lectures and practicals from experts in the field

3. Real synchrotron data collection and data processing opportunities

    

General Workshop Topics:

1. Introduction to Structural Biology

2. Crystallographic approaches

3. X-ray imaging at synchrotrons and XFELs)

4. Complementary techniques
